Was Hamlets madness genuine? I think it was, partially. I'm not saying he went out of his mind, because he did not lose control. He was manipulating everyone, his friends even his family, they thought that they had him under control, but really Hamlet was playing all of them like a fiddle. Most of Hamlet's madness, in my opinion, came from him acting. My point is that this was much easier for him than an ordinary person.
